Estimates are always free, call 800-780-0201 Finding a qualified contractor is the first step toward quality control of any construction project, including the purchase and installation of awnings. Your reward will be the timely and successful completion of your project with a contractor you know and trust. Start with these three simple questions you should ask before you hire an awning contractor:
All California building contractors must be able to provide proof of a Contractor's License, Performance Bond, Business and Vehicle Liability Coverage, City Business License, Seller's Permit, Workers Compensation Coverage and OSHA Safety Program.  Few property owners are aware that they may suffer unrecoverable damage and loss or be held liable for losses suffered by others, including workers on their property, when they hire an unlicensed, uninsured or underinsured contractor.  Superior Awning maintains a full and current portfolio of the required licenses, permits and insurance policies and will provide details upon request.  Beware the contractor who does not have every component of a complete license and insurance portfolio.  Excuses such as "I am exempt from Workers Compensation because I do not technically have employees" should be view skeptically.  If uninsured workers are hurt on your property, you are liable regardless of by whom they are technically employed.  Check your contractor's record.  Call or log on to the California Contractors State License Board to verify license status and check for complaints and citations (our CSLB# is 589431.)

How to Choose an Awning Contractor

Superior Awning has been making fine custom outdoor shade products in Southern California for over thirty years.  We have extensive experience in all phases of awning construction including design, engineering, manufacturing and installation.  Our after-sale service is unparalleled in the industry and is just one more reason so many local, national and international corporations choose us for their California projects.  In fact, very few contractors are able to qualify to work with such organizations due to license issues, inadequate insurance, poor safety records, etc.  We are proud to have consistently won contracts in competitive bidding contests with thousands of discriminating corporations and organizations.  Please visit our High Profile Projects page for a sample listing of corporate and government clients.

1. Does this contractor use the highest quality materials available?

2. Does this contractor have experience and a history of installing quality products in my community?

3. Is this contractor fully licensed, bonded, insured and in compliance with all applicable regulations?

In keeping with our long-term outlook, we are committed to using only the highest quality materials in every product we make including premium mill-backed outdoor fabrics, Gore Tenara® Lifetime threads and galvanized steel awning frames...offering dramatically higher durability and longevity than industry-basic outdoor materials. This unyielding commitment to the highest quality raw materials has proven to provide exceptional protection against premature deterioration in the most demanding outdoor environments. Our use of premium, technologically advanced materials means you can rest assured we intend to stand behind our products and that your awnings will be both aesthetically and functionally superior.
